Relatively Speaking

Alan Ayckbourne

Directed by Sharon White

-----------------

One of Alan Ayckbourn’s most performed plays “Relatively Speaking” is sophisticated farce at it’s best. A play of misunderstandings and mistaken identities.

Its the swinging 60s in London.  Madly in love with Ginny, Greg decides to follow her when she pays a visit to her parents, to ask for her hand in marriage.  He arrives before her at the home of Philip and Sheila hoping they’ll give their blessing.  From that moment no-one is quite what they seem and nothing goes according to plan.

In this perfectly paced comedy of misunderstandings, Alan Ayckbourn expertly weaves an exquisite entanglement that will leave you guessing to the last minute.
